If your mornings are anything like mine, you’re so focused on getting out the door that you sometimes just can’t care enough to start your day with the right nutrients. Well, smoothies might just be a game changer. It all depends on what ingredients you choose to use, of course.


These deliciously healthy smoothie recipes make it easy to start your day right with healthy ingredients!  These smoothies don’t require much preparation, just throw in the ingredients in the blender, and mix until smooth! (Pro tip: they can even be made the night before, stored in the freezer and taken on-the-go the next morning.)


Fruit and Oat Smoothie

What you need:

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 sliced banana
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Banana Ginger Smoothie

What you need:
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • ¾ c (6 oz) vanilla yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
